For example, "Best", "#1", "Top", "New", "Discount", "Sale", "Free", or "Million Downloads".

About the Metadata policy

We don't allow apps with misleading, improperly formatted, non-descriptive, irrelevant, excessive, or inappropriate metadata, including, but not limited to, the app's description, developer name, title, icon, screenshots, and promotional images. Developers must provide a clear and well-written description of their app and avoid using repetitive or unrelated keywords or references. We also don't allow unattributed or anonymous user testimonials in the app's description.

Developers must not use text or images in the app title, icon, developer name that indicate price, promotional information, store performance or ranking, or suggest any relations to existing Google Play programs.

  2. Make appropriate changes to your app (if possible), and be sure to address the issue described above. You may also want to check your app's store listing for compliance, if applicable.
  3. Double check that your app is compliant with all other Developer Program Policies.
  4. If you made changes to your app bundle, store listing, or APK, please sign in to your Play Console and submit the update(s).
