To bring your app into compliance, follow these steps: Update the data safety declaration to let us know how your app collects and shares user data. - [Go to the data safety declaration] in App content
- If you told us that your app doesn't collect or share any of the required user data types, select 'yes' in the data collection and security section. Answer all remaining questions in this step.
- In the data types section, review all the categories, and select all the data types your app uses
- Tell us how data is collected and / or shared
- Send changes to Google for review. [Go to Publishing overview].
If you want to remove functionality that collects or shares user data that you haven't declared, update your app and send changes to Google for review. All developers must complete a clear and accurate Data safety form for every app detailing collection, use, and sharing of user data. The developer is responsible for the accuracy of the label and keeping this information up-to-date.
