| | | | | | | | | | SERVICE UPDATE | | | Hello NYANGO, | | | Please be aware of the following tax changes which will go into effect on June 1, 2025. | | Philippines | | If you are a Google Play Developer located outside the Philippines, Google is responsible for determining, charging and remitting Value Added Tax (VAT) on paid apps and in-app purchases made on Google Play by customers in the Philippines. | | | If you are a Google Play Developer located in the Philippines, you are still responsible for determining, charging and remitting VAT on paid apps and in-app purchases made on Google Play by customers in the Philippines. | | | We will also charge Value Added Tax (VAT) on the service fee if you are located in the Philippines but haven't provided your Tax Identification Number (TIN) to Google. | | | Your tax status determines the taxes you're charged in the Philippines.
